The Apprenticeship Contest was held on June 12, 13 and 14, 2008 at Local 51. Apprentices competed in pipe welding, HVAC, plumbing and pipefitting and were judged by industry and training representatives with Ryan Smith of Local 51 as the pipe welding winner.
