Local 51 and it's members would like to thank everyone who joined us for our first charity golf tournament. Despite the rain it was a fun day and we raised $11,000 for our Community Outreach Fund! Can't wait till next year!
Community Outreach Fund
At one time or another, we’ve all needed a little help or known somebody who was caught in an unfortunate circumstance well beyond their control. There is a great deal of stress associated with hardship whether it maybe emotional, physical, or financial. These difficult situations are sometimes too tough to deal with alone!
For these reasons, Local 51 will stand united and proud in the development of our own Community Outreach Fund. Our goal is to establish and maintain this fund through various fund raising and charity events. The fund will be used to aid charitable causes and give back to the local communities in times of hardship.
On behalf of Local 51, please join us June 5th 2009 at Triggs Memorial Golf Course. You will be helping raise money for a good cause, as well as enjoying a day filled with fun, food, and golf.
