Attention All Members: Please join us for an informative picket line on Friday 9/25/09 at the Providence VA Medical Center starting at 7:00am.
Please join us for an informative picket line on Friday 9/25/09 at the main entrance of the Providence VA Medical Center starting at 7:00am. All RI Building Trades are coming together to try and prevent non-union out of town contractors from capturing our work! An estimated $50 - $60 million dollars of stimulus money has been approved for work at the hospital to be done over the next year and a half. It is important for local contractors be awarded the work at the hospital to ensure our union brothers and sisters have jobs to support their families!
Friday will be the first picket at the hospital, with more to follow in the coming weeks. For more information Please contact:
