Local 51 recently attended the RI Small Business summit held at Bryant University. We use this summit to meet end users and discuss our training facilities and our apprenticeship model. Surveys that were given throughout the summit indicated the challenges that business are currently facing in the market. The lack of basic math skills that potential employees currently possess, and the high cost of electricity in the Northeast.
