Skills U.S.A - (3/28/2017)
On Friday March 17th, 2017 the Local 51 Training Center hosted the "Skills USA" competition for the second consecutive year. Skills USA is a national competition in which high school students are tested in the disciplines of torch cutting, mig welding, tig welding and stick welding.
The high schools who participated this year were Chariho, Coventry Providence Career * Technical and Tolman High. The winner of this years "Skills USA" competition will be announced at an upcoming awards dinner. Great job and congratulations to all the participant.
